Cornus alba 'Kesselringii' Black-barked dogwood

Vigorous, deciduous shrub with deep purplish-black stems. Dark green leaves become flushed reddish-purple in autumn. Creamy white flwrs in late spring and early summer are followed by white fruits. Requires full sun-part shade, wet or dry soil, Ht 5-6 ft/ 1.5-2m best if hard pruned in early spring.
