Cornus officinalis

Deciduous small bushy tree resembling c. mas but earlier flwring and having peeling bark. Clusteers of sml yellow flwrs in Feb on bare twigs followed by red fruits in late summer. Green leaves giving good autumn red colours. Ht 12-14ft sun or semi-shade, any soil type.
